Mr. S.V.RAMAN [65] B.Com, ACA, AICWA, ACS is a resident of Chennai, Tamil Nadu India. He graduated from Loyola College Chennai and then qualified as a Chartered Accountant by undergoing training with Fraser and Ross [now Deloitte]. He also qualified as cost accountant and company secretary. Thus he is an associate member of three eminent professional bodies in India.
He was in employment in Chennai for about three decades between 1969 and 1999. He started his career in steel re-rolling industry, moved to the Institute for Financial Management and Research [IFMR] where he was Associate Professor, and then became the CFO/Secretary at Sanmar Engineering and Rane Group, two major business houses in South India.
His principal experience has been in manufacturing sector where he had the opportunity to deal with strategic planning, cost management, merger and de-merger. He has held senior management positions and has a strong background in accounting and finance.
From the year 2000 he set up his own practice as a Consultant. He also holds a certificate of practice from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He also regularly does training programs for corporate sector on accounting and finance. He has been a visiting faculty member for various management institutes.
With this powerful, professional background in Finance, he has joined ‘Hearts for Hearts’ to project Transparency as the motto of Hearts for Hearts.
